Academic Technologies Training Opportunities: Fall 2025 Learning Series
This fall, Academic Technologies is once again offering its popular Learning Series. Each session is one hour long, held on Zoom, and covers a different topic from our technology portfolio. We host one session per week - see details and registration links below:
- Friday, September 5th at 11am –Ally- Learn how to use Ally in Canvas to improve the accessibility of your course materials. This session will be led by Leah and is a great introduction for anyone new to Ally or accessibility in general. #unl-at

- Tuesday, September 9th at 1pm – YuJa- Based on survey feedback, Donald will walk through common questions and tips about using YuJa effectively for video content management. #unl-at

- Thursday, September 25th at 1pm – AI Tools- This session, led by Amy and Brad, will feature the AI tools and opportunities that are available to users at UNL. Highlights include a discussion of the OpenAI Impact Program, suggestions for effective prompt engineering in ChatGPT, and insights into Microsoft Copilot and Zoom AI features. #unl-at

- Monday, October 6th at 2pm – Nebraska Polling App- Leah will discuss how users can get started with the Nebraska Polling App, a free classroom engagement tool built at UNL that instructors can use for polls and attendance. This session will include a demo of a feature that allows instructors to import poll results as CSV files directly into the Canvas gradebook. #unl-at
